Outdoor Field Maintenance
Sports Field Maintenance The City of Oshawa uses Integrated Pest Management to maintain its property. Regular maintenance and the application of alternative products help improve turf quality.
The City of Oshawa produces an open and close schedule for each field each year to maintain the integrity and safety of sport fields. View the Field Status Page.
Please stay off the fields when they are not open. In early spring, the turf is just starting to grow and can easily be destroyed. Early spring play can cause major damage to the turf as the ground is quite wet and compaction becomes an issue.
