Parks, Recreation and Culture Strategy

Vision 2020

In November 2005 City Council approved the Parks, Recreation and Culture Strategy - Vision 2020.

The Strategy document is the result of extensive community consultations, research and review. Nearly 600 citizens, stakeholders and visionary leaders volunteered their time and energy to help Council and staff create this blueprint of our future parks, recreation and culture system.
